Writer, performer, producer.............

Since buying recording equipment in January 2010, I have learnt more and more about special technics required for this field. Whilst not an expert, my previous knowledge of sound, balance and levels, has helped me progress in my conversion to studio work.

Modern electronic gear can be purchased for a very economical price in comparison with previous models from the 1960’s. A studio recording of one of your masterpieces would cost £1,000’s in those days, whereas now excellent quality songs can be produced in your own home grown studio.

The Internet has also helped things develop, with information passing between continents and educating everyone of the new world of electronics. I know of many musicians who have had another burst of inspiration in the music field because of these vast improvements. Some have retired from the stage and now produce excellent sounding songs from home and make a welcome relief to listen to rather than some of the plastic manufactured sounds on the radio.

On the following songs I have completed all the process, from writing the words and music, playing of all instruments, doing all singing, and recording and production. All CD’s are professionally manufactured for me, and available to purchase - here.
